Being human isn’t always easy, but there are ways to make it a more enjoyable journey.
As humans we often focus on what we call flaws in ourself. Yet if we listed every one of the things that we don’t like about ourselves, that will likely tell an important story and perhaps create a map back to our hearts and to a life worth living. If your story points to feeling insecure, broken or fearful, those concerns most likely points to specific formative experiences in your life where you didn’t have the support you needed to fully understand or digest a situation. You may have tried to figure things out on your own and come to your own conclusions as to what that situation meant about you, about others and your relationship to others. I like to view your story as a map.
We can create a map from what happened in the past, to where you are now, and what you want to grow into… all the while valuing you and holding you in the highest esteem right now.
